Kimmoly is the mother of two amazing sons and currently resides in Maryland .

What would you define as a Woman Warrior ? When I think of a Woman Warrior , I think of someone who consistently beats the odds . Someone who is not willing to let anything stop her from reaching her desired goals . She protects her peace and guards her soul because she knows doing so will keep her focused and productive . A Woman Warrior is not just that for herself but for every other woman that is connected to the fulfillment of her purpose .

What obstacles did you overcome to get to where you are today ? I have had to overcome many obstacles to get to where I am today . One of the biggest was my fear of success . There was a time when I was worried about what others would think of me if I forged too far ahead . I also had to learn to get out of my own way and to eliminate selfsabotaging beliefs . I had to allow myself to walk into my God given purpose and own the right to be there .

What inspired you to become the woman that you are today ? Wanting more for myself , my children , and the amazing women in my community has inspired me to become the woman I am today . There is no time for mediocrity , there is too much at stake . If I don ’ t walk in my purpose others that have been assigned to me will struggle to find their way and I can ’ t let that happen . What I have learned over the years is that people are watching me even when I don ’ t think they are . Therefore , I strive to live my life in the most authentic way . I ’ ve learned to live my life as an open book with the hope that it uplifts and inspires others to greatness .

What are your current endeavors and future goals ? My current endeavors and future goals are all focused on continuing to build a world class publishing company . LaBoo Publishing Enterprise is a fast-growing publishing house for the independent self-publisher . We are always striving for excellence , focused on providing a superb experience for each client . Our clients are like family to us . My children are involved in the business as well . This is legacy building for us . The journey of publishing is rewarding and each time we are privileged to support an author is a gift . We take nothing for granted and we are grateful for everything .

What word of advice would you like to share ? Don ’ t be afraid to use your voice . Your words have power , your life has impact . Allow yourself to explore every gift that God has given you . Don ’ t leave anything on the table . Be fearless . I ’ ve done many things while shaking in my boots , but I ’ ve learned , that ’ s where the gold is . Every time I have decided to throw caution to the wind the reward has been great . Lessons were learned , my faith increased , and my mind expanded . Please give yourself that gift . n
