am Elon The Stylst , Owner of The Hair Ministry . With over 10 years of experience , I truly enjoy the experience of transforming my clients every single time ! My journey began when I received my Bachelor ’ s degree in Business Marketing from The Great Bethune-Cookman University . I later received my Cosmetology License from Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers and two years later I became a Foundations Cosmetology Instructor at Hollywood Institute where I currently teach Hair Braiding Courses . As you can tell , hair has always been one of my greatest passions .

What would you define as a Woman Warrior ? A Woman Warrior is a woman that goes after everything she wants in life and never takes no for an answer . She ’ s clearly a fighter . No obstacle can come between her and her goals .

What Obstacles did you overcome to get to where you are today ? I believe fear has been the greatest obstacle on my journey . The fear of failing has tried to stop me time and time again . Growing up in a corporately driven household made my entrepreneurial dreams seem laughable and unstable , but I have gone through many ups and downs that have now proven my dreams and passions to be both profitable as well as fulfilling .

What inspired you to become the woman that you are today ? I have been inspired by many different people in my life , but God has been my number one driving force throughout the entire journey . He was the only voice I heard telling me to leave the comfortable constraints of the 9-5 lifestyle to pursue what I truly love .

What are your current endeavors and future goals ? Currently , I am working towards becoming a Youtube Influencer . My channel , The Hair Ministry was created to share my passions with the world while sharing God ’ s word simultaneously .

What word of advice would you like to share ? My greatest advice would be to keep God first in everything that you do . Seek His wisdom when life presents obstacles , and always remain faithful to His guidance . He ’ s never failed me before ! n

illary Harris is the owner of Vitality Wellness Spa which is located in Orlando , Florida . She has been in the Healthcare Industry for over 25 years and nearly 20 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Geriatrics . She is also certified in wound care , cardiac and diabetic nurse .

Hillary has transitioned into massage therapy after noticing a need for caregivers who oftentimes did not take care of themselves . Her passion was ignited to create a place where people could go to get self-care . One of Hillary ’ s favorite quotes is , “ If you must go to work , take the best version of yourself ”.

What would you define as a Woman Warrior ? A Woman Warrior is a woman who knows that it is ok to stumble and even fall , as long as she stands up to try again ! That is the warrior spirit .

What obstacles did you overcome to get to where you are today ? I overcame the fear of stepping away from my nursing career and using my savings to start my own business . The passing of my mother impacted me greatly but to this day I still choose to follow her teachings and let her memory inspire me every day . I ’ ve also had to face the reality that I had no support from my spouse when I decided to quit my day job to follow my dream of opening a Spa but I was fortunate enough to have the support of my close friends Tony and Joseph . I realized that all the strength I needed had to come from within because at the end of the day I am in control of my future .

What inspired you to become the woman that you are today ? My inspiration to succeed comes from my refusal to fail . Not being a failure was and will always be my inspiration . Leaving something tangible for my children is extremely important to me and I would love to create a comfortable life for my family in the future .

What are your current endeavors and future goals ? Some of the goals for myself are self-improvement , continuing to build and expand my brand into other cities and states and creating generational wealth for my family . n
