Mimi mala Mimi Steward, Mimi Mala, was born and raised on Long Island NY to parents of Puerto Rican descent. She knew, at the age of seven, that she had a gift of being immensely outspoken, truly lively, extremely connected with everyone and spunk that attracted others to her instantly. At the age of thirteen, her parents took her to a large audition at John Casa Blanca in Queens NY where she was signed immediately! From that point, she has been in several beauty pageants, commercials, print, ad work and plays. Mimi moved to Orlando FL when she turned 17 years old, which is when she found herself motivated to do more to expand and show her creative side. After graduation, she met Ms. Sha, the creator of Synsha Models and Fashion located in Jacksonville FL. She became one of the very first original models cast! That experience instilled in her a desire to propel her career forward. With heightened self- confidence and knowledge of the entertainment industry, she felt comfortable enough to determine that she wanted to create and produce. Mimi started putting her creative thoughts and management skills into effect, where she could help others. She became Vice President of a nonprofit organization that catered to the community by providing them tools and showing them how to express their creativity and talent, without charge. Moving forward she became a Host, Program Director, Coordinator and finally building her own company, Steward Management. She can freely create, produce and manage all projects and events on her own, providing the community with positivity and a supportive atmosphere in this harsh entertainment field. Despite the challenges, this is still a country where the community can pray freely and truly enjoy their craft without greed or false promises. Mimi has spent the past five years creating Steward Management and building her team, which is an extended family. Her success was recognized by a Pod Casting bilingual Christian Station where she took a leap of faith and became an Executive Producer / Registered Bilingual Reporter and Radio Personality. Nominated as Best Radio Show at The Paoli Awards and winning at the Sacro Imperial Awards was an accomplishment that she will always cherish. By the Grace of God, after being on air for only a year, Mimi was approached by a Christian Broadcasting Station. She took their offer and became an Executive Producer / Host / Registered Bilingual Reporter and Radio Personality of WOKB 1680AM for “Peace On The Streets Radio Show”. With this platform, she is completely free to continue her work with Steward Management as well as becoming Co-Owner of the radio show! Mimi provides others a platform of opportunities. She can still assist nonprofit organizations, support local sports teams/talents and the faith world. Published numerous times for winning Best Host, and Most Influential Women Of Orlando has been a highlight of her career. Being one of the youngest Latinas in Florida to own the rights to her own radio show, remaining independent and having control of her media platform is a challenge that she welcomes every day. Mimi stays focused on providing exposure opportunities for independents and small businesses providing everyone, all races all cultures a platform to express themselves. You can catch Mimi on the two-time Stellar Award station, WOKB 1680AM every Wednesday 9 pm-11 pm eastern standard time. She has also been signed to a Talent agent, where she is now a contracted streaming host, seen worldwide, connected with her podcasting radio show. She gives grace to God knowing his guidance and her faith led her on this path and journey with a tremendously talented and reliable group of people. She also wants to acknowledge Prince of the South, her business partner of Peace On The Streets Radio Show for believing in her, supporting her, signing her on board and immediately bringing her on to the WOKB family where they have flourished tremendously since October 2017. Mimi acknowledges her WOKB family for allowing her to be herself and trusting her visions. In addition, she realizes that without her family and her team, without their love and support, none of this would be possible. Mimi’s quote that defines her is, “I don’t care about fame, I just want to be able to make positive impressions and to help make positive changes in our world.” MIMIMALA1 CONTACT MIMIMALA1 TO BOOK MIMI MALA AT (800) 719-8231, EXT. 7
