I have purposely aligned myself with this
organization and its leadership because
we share the same values — values that
I believe are vital to the existence of a
thriving culture. WOW is an organization
that operates with integrity and a spirit
of excellence. Here at WOW, we believe
in giving back to the participants and
our local community, providing tools that
work as catalysts and bridges to launch
confidence, esteem and self-awareness.
Our passion as a team is to assist women
to successfully transition from "surviving
to thriving." Upon completion of our
program, it is our goal for the participants
to acquire the necessary tools to not
only rewrite their own life story, but also
to ignite a spark in others, through their
journey and the values of WOW.
NANCY DECAUL
I choose to be part of WOW because
I believe women need to support and
help each other in the Good, Bad and
Indifferent times of their lives. . . I believe
the “Fall Into Fabulous” program reflects
that.
For me, it’s all about the program. Yes, the
Annual Fundraising Luncheon is intriguing,
but I love seeing the transformation of the
women as they first enter the program as
shy, insecure, or fearful, from not knowing
“who they are” to becoming Fearless,
Fierce, and Fabulous women through
the retraining of their mindset to change
habits that can be destructive to not
only the women themselves, but also to
their families. When we truly change the
trajectory of just one, two or three women,
it preserves their family and their LEGACY.
TRACY WADE
I'm currently the Operations Manager for
WOW Legacy Group. I've been with Secily
Wilson since the beginning of Fall into
Fabulous. Aside from being a personal
friend, I joined forces with Secily because I
know what it's like to go to sleep with your
life one way, only to wake up the next
day to an entirely different life. One of
my assignments on Earth is to encourage
women to live their very BEST life despite
opposition! Our organization allows me to
utilize the gifts that are inside of me. Our
Fall into Fabulous program is extremely
dear to my heart. I'm looking forward to
the day where there will be a GLOBAL
IMPACT of what we're doing, and how
we're changing the lives of women!
KAMARI YOUNG
There’s many things that
I can say about my ex-
perience with the WOW
Legacy Fall into Fabulous
Women empowerment
group, well Family. I say
Family because I have
not always had the confidence and
support that I needed to be the Mother,
Wife, or Daughter that I know that I should
be! I lack confidence because I made the
wrong decisions in my past, which cost
me to not be able to find a stable living
environment for my kids. We lived where
we could, which was nothing like having
our own space, but it was safe. I couldn’t
get my own apartment because I had an
eviction and to rental properties that was
armed flag no matter how long ago it
may have been. Here I am, a mother with
six amazing kids who mean absolutely
everything to me, that can’t provide my
them with the things they deserve (their
own room or their own play area). It took
everything in me to keep a smile through
the hurt that I felt for not being able to
give the them what I call a normal life. I
wanted them to believe that everything is
okay and know that I was doing my very
best to provide for them and to make sure
they are happy and healthy. I worked two
jobs, missing out on things that I should
be involved in in their lives, but I couldn’t
stop; I had goals to achieve.
I was introduced to a group of amazing
ladies who were a part of Fall into
Fabulous. They had also been through
some type of struggles in life, and these
women were also mothers, daughters,
and some were wives. We talked, laughed,
and cried. Not once was I judged; I was
welcomed with all of my flaws and they
considered me “Family.”
We were introduced to an amazing
financial advisor named Kimberly Stewart,
who instilled in me the importance of
having a good credit score. Not only did
she tell me the benefits of having a good
credit score but she showed me how to
get one, and what I had to do to keep it
that way, step by step. Over a course of
four months, my credit score went from
embarrassingly low to being approved
for an amount not only that I needed, but
desired, to purchase my very own dream
home!
We had life coaches like Dr. Rick Adams,
who helped me realize and feel that I
am amazing! God loves me and that my
past really doesn’t dictate my future. Dr.
Rick taught me that I am wonderful and
fearfully made. To me that meant I am not
a mistake; I am who I am because that’s
how God wanted it to be. And although
I have gone through trials, I have what is
needed to overcome any obstacle—and
I will! He was there to extend his infinite
knowledge and love at any time. For that
alone, I’m grateful!
The women of Fall into Fabulous made
sure I never felt different, below or beneath
anything or anyone. They wanted to see
me succeed and went above and beyond
to make that happen which is what Family
does. Secily took me under her wing and
held my hand until I was confident and
strong enough to do it on my own. She
truly is a blessing from God! It breaks my
heart for the class to end. Nevertheless,
from now until forever, I’ll always be a part
of the WOW Legacy Fall into Fabulous
Family, and that means the world to me. n
