The Guys with Ties Philanthropy is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2005 by eight young professionals who were attorneys , doctors , entrepreneurs and engineers who were committed to making a difference around Central Florida .

Their intent was to host parties and events with all the proceeds from them going directly to local charities that focused on the needs of our local neighbors . That intent and their goal is still stronger than ever .

To date , as a group , they have raised over $ 550,000 for 50 + local non-profits and charities and given many thousands of volunteer hours back in the community . The President of the Board of Directors , Jeremy Sisson , MBA was quoted as saying , “ Its amazing the amount of good a group can do for others when their hearts and minds are all in the right place .”

The organization has grown and morphed over the years and their Board now includes commercial real estate brokers , financial advisors , aerospace engineers , construction specialists , corporate executives , non-profit executives and many others . Their one true common bond is the passion to be able to give back to Central Florida . The old motto which has stuck to this day is , “ We like to say we put the fun back in fundraising !”

Jed Main of the Main Law Firm , one of the original founders of Guys with Ties , is proud to see that his hard work in the early years is still paying dividends to the Central Florida community nearly 13 years later . “ It ’ s great to see charitable individuals moving forward with the organization , and having fun while in the process . Guys with Ties has been able to help so many people over the years , and I look forward to supporting the group for many more years !”

Over the last year or two , as the board of directors has fluxed in and out with old members going emeritus and new members coming on board , a fresh new thought process has emerged . The new board has said , we ’ ve done a lot over the years , but how can we do much more ? How can we make our organization better to those in need ? So , a bold new vision has been born that , if realized , will have a tremendous and lasting impact on those in need throughout Central Florida and beyond .

The Guys with Ties Ambassador Program : The importance of spreading community involvement and charitable contribution has been the key driving forces of the Guys with Ties Organization . Therefore , we wanted to create a way for other passionate professionals to participate in our philanthropy efforts outside of being board members .

Our board created the “ Ambassador ” program during the 2016 calendar year , to engage selected Ambassador members to be a part of our organization and equip them with the tools to help facilitate the Guys with Ties mission . Guys with Ties are always on the search to find passionate
