Events. and BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation will host hundreds of professionals within the Central Florida Community beginning Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Rosen Plaza across from Pointe Orlando in honor of an incredible cause. To mark the significance of this year, a portion of the proceeds donated to BASE Camp will be also used to create a scholarship fund for local children impacted by cancer. The first ever recipient of the I’m in. Scholarship. will be presented in May 2019 thanks to the support of the community of this event. The only event of its kind in the world, Black and White Weekend is an incredibly fun and unique get together for wonderful people of all ages and work backgrounds from all over Central Florida and beyond for eating, drinking, dancing, mingling, socializing, networking, photos, entertainment and so much more in a very upscale indoor and outdoor venue across two days and one incredible night, all while supporting a great charity and our ongoing well- being. “BASE Camp provides a year-round base of support for children and families who are facing the challenge of living with cancer and other life-threatening hematological illnesses,” said Terri Jones-Robbins, President of BASE Camp. “The Annual Black and White Weekend provides vital support, and we are truly honored to continuously be selected for such a meaningful and prominent event!” “I first envisioned this event on my ORMC ICU hospital bed right before almost passing away in 2000 with a near fatal case of pneumonia,” said Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and UCF Hall of Famer Heissam “I’m in” Jebailey. “Created in May 2010, and along with an incredible committee, is now the largest Black and White Weekend for Charity and Wellness in the world in its monumental and unprecedented 10th Year.” Black and White Weekend 10 Year Anniversary (The Reunion) will begin at 8:30 p.m. on Friday May 10 through Saturday, May 11, 2019. Admission is only $46 in advance ($65 at the door) with access to the entire weekend. Anyone 21+ that likes to have a good time, meet new people and support something very special is welcome to experience this one of a kind event.
