COMPANY PROFILE
Professor Laura Dorsey is the CEO of LLD
Consulting. LLD Consulting specializes in
taking your voice and the message that
you want to convey and creating that writ-
ten component that can be used in pub-
lication, speeches, oral presentations and
marketing and advertising. We also assist
with sharing writing strategies for book
manuscripts and magazine articles.
LLD Consulting clients range from Bob
Beamon, Olympic gold medalists, attor-
neys, authors, entrepreneurs both for
profit and non-profit. Currently, Professor
Dorsey serves as the Communications
Director for the Pan African Cultural Heri-
tage Institute where she serves as a fellow

Professor Dorsey is a prior educational pro-
fessional and community liaison. She has a
wide-ranging background in educational
administration and corporate management.
Her experiences include quality manage-
ment, performance improvement, accred-
itation compliance, education, instruction-
al design, and training/development.
Facilitation using multiple distance edu-
cational modalities including assessment
and evaluation is one of her specialties. In
addition, she has served as a University Aca-
demic Cabinet Member, SME General Edu-
cation & English and Area Chair: Academic
Writing and General Studies in the College
of Humanities for the University of Phoenix.
Prior to her academic career, she had a very
extensive career in financial services, retir-
ing as the Assistant Vice President, directly
responsible for merger/acquisitions, strate-
gic planning, development, budgeting and
forecasting. Professor Dorsey’s academic
and professional career has led her to be-
come a sought-out speaker on a variety of
subjects.
